This is a camping site.

Site Rules

* This is private property and the owners have clearly stated that cannabis is not to be brought on site due to an anaphylactic allergy.
*Open fires are allowed only in designated fire pits.
*Pets must be leashed during the event. *Owners are responsible for picking up after their pet on site.

•The site is rustic, there are pit toilets.
•There is no water available on site, and no electricity.
•This site has been visited by wildlife in the past. Please practice good food storage procedures and be bear aware.

Directions to the Fields of Gold Educational Centre from the west…

From the west travel east on Highway 16 and make your best way to Smithers.

In Smithers, this is your last major center before the Medieval Village at the Fields of Gold site. Make sure you have everything you will need for your stay.

Leaving Smithers, continue east on Highway 16, passing through Telkwa, go past Vic’s Garage, and on towards the community of Quick. You need not look for Quick as it is one of those “blink and you will miss it communities located between Quick Road West and Quick Road East. Start looking for Km 385 where you will be turning right. When you see the “Gweek Creek Riding School “ sign on your right you are getting close. Just around the corner on Highway 16 you will see the mileage marker for Km 385 about half way down the straight stretch. When you see the mileage marker put on your turn signal and turn right onto Larch Road.

Once you make the right turn you should be able to see the outer bailey wall; proceed to the gate in the wall and turn left onto High Street. The gatehouse is located just inside the main gate.

Directions to the Fields of Gold Educational Centre from the east…

Make your best way to Prince George and then travel west on Highway 16 making your best way to Houston.

In Houston, this is your last major center before the Medieval Village at the Fields of Gold site. Make sure you have everything you will need for your stay.

Leaving Houston, continue west on Highway 16, to the Hungry Hill Summit, you have 13.9 km to the left turn onto Larch Road. After rounding the corner at Deep Creek start looking for Km 385 mileage marker where you will be turning left. When you see the “Gweek Creek Riding School “ sign on your left you are getting very close. You may see the mileage marker for Km 385 about half way down the straight stretch on the left side of the road, but you will be turning left just before that. Turn left onto Larch Road.

Once you make the left turn you should be able to see the outer bailey wall; proceed to the gate in the wall and turn left onto High Street. The gatehouse is located just inside the main gate.
