Thorough directions to the site Courtenay, B.C. (Vancouver Island)
From the south: Travel up island to Courtenay. Take the turn-off at Buckley Bay (the Denman/Hornby ferry), and at the old highway, turn left. Drive over the Trent River bridge (and past the Shell gas station with the lowest prices in the Valley) to the lights at Royston Road; turn left onto the Royston Road. Travel about 2 km (two minutes?), and the hall should be to your left. You could also go further north to the Courtenay-Cumberland turn-off. After turning right (as if into Courtenay), go 0.8 km and turn right onto Minto Road. Follow Minto forever (3.6 km, around 4 minutes) to the stop sign. The Fallen Alders Hall is kitty-corner to the stop sign.
From the north: Travel down island to Courtenay; go through town, past the Zellers, and staying on the old highway. At the set of lights in Royston, turn right onto Royston Road. Travel about 2 km (maybe two minutes), and the hall should be to your left.
