This is a Level 2: Branch Event where no Kingdom or Principality business is expected to be conducted event.

Baronial Championships for the following fields of interest: Arts & Sciences and Bardic. Feast-ivities to share in the appreciation of the Populace.

Site Fee $25 per Adult Non Member, $5 Discount for Blue card holders =$20, However, Age 17 and under are Free. Cash or Make US checks payable to Barony of Vulcanfeldt, SCA Inc.
Site Location Broadway Grange Hall located at 909 W Washington Ave Yakima WA 98902
There is plenty of Parking at site. The Feast hall has Tables and a full kitchen and plenty of outlets located in the lower level of the building. The Performance space for Bardic and dancing has a dance floor and stage located on the upper level of the building.
Hear ye! Hear ye!Yule tide is upon the land. This is our Baronial Champions tournament for A&S and Bardic. Details to be posted on FB event page.
Please Bring your Feast Gear, Table Decorations (prize contest for Best Table Setting), Feast Contribution (Prize for best Subtlety), 3 Largesse items to donate (Prize for winner). If you have a Stick horse for indoor “equestrian” fun please bring it. If you wish to participate in the gift exchange please bring a wrapped gift to participate. Items suggested to be non gender specific (if it is, then label it) less than $30, also preferably Period inspired or SCA appropriate.  (Armor to hold marshal activities practice, should the outdoor weather be amenable) There will also be a fundraiser on site liquidating Gold Key Garb and Medieval Library Books. Bring your holiday shopping funds.
Suggested Schedule for Yule:
9 am Set up Crew
11 am Gate opens (Door prize drawing once we have over 45 in attendance)
   A&S Championship Competition Display set up
         Format= 2 Entry items minimum, one must have appropriate documentation.
         3 item Largesse competition set up
12 pm Opening Court: Invocation of List for A&S and Bardic Competitions
1 pm Gate Closes, A&S Judging , Decorate your table
2 pm Feasting and Revelry
3 pm Bardic Champion Competition: Format=Open Bardic, points given for history/documentation, Presentation, Props, and audience participation
          Indoor “Equestrian” games
          Gift Exchange
          Outdoor Marshal activities (Weather and available Marshals Permitting)
5 pm Final Court
Following Court: Pack up, Clean up, Say our farewells ’till next time.
