Join the Shire of Vinjar as the skilled compete in Heavy, Rapier, & Archery
Tournaments. Come for the renowned “Grape Stomp” as well as the second
annual “Maighstir Gruadaire” (Master Brewer) competition. The Drover’s Reach
Tavern will be open for business. *No outside alcohol*

Paid reservations are required.

Site fee: $10 with membership, $4 NMS

Meals: $12 for feast on Saturday
Bed fee:$10 per person per night.

Limited camping space – $5 per tent.
(Smalls under 12 free except bed fee applies)

(Smalls under 6 free)
Makes cheques payable to ASCA Canton of Vinjar
The site is wheelchair accessible and has indoor showers/washrooms.
Reservations deadline for feast is September 23rd .

1:30 -4 PM Archery Competition
2:00 PM Heavy Amour Inspection & List Open
2:30 – 4:00 PM Heavy Tournament
4 PM – 2nd annual Maighstir Gruadaire (Period documentation highly
encouraged)
5:30 PM Grape Stomping
6:30 PM Feast

Directions: There is no street address. Camp Tamarack Camp Ground, not the
RV Park!

Follow Hwy 43 to Grande Prairie, turn LEFT at the Hwy 43/Hwy 2 junction.
Follow Hwy 43 South/100 St. to 116 Ave. At 116 Ave., turn RIGHT. Follow Hwy
43 to 100 Ave. At 100 Ave., CONTINUE HEADING SOUTH, now following Hwy 40
South/Wapiti Road (108 St.). Follow Hwy 40 South through and out of Grande
Prairie. Continue south of Grande Prairie 5km, and turn LEFT at “Camp
Tamarack” signage and follow the SCA signs.

From Dawson Creek: enter Grande Prairie on Highway 43. Turn right on highway
40/Wapiti Road. Travel south of Grande Prairie 5km; turn left at Camp
Tamarack signage and follow the SCA signs.
