Montengarde’s 12th Night Snow Ball and Baronial Succession
Come one, come all, my Lords and Ladies, and join us in Baroness
Cattea’s Long House for our celebration of the Yuletide season.
Come to Montengarde’s Snow Ball and the Succession of our new Baron and
Baroness. We shall celebrate with tournaments and contests, songs and
stories, and a feast to delight you and yours. And in the spirit of the
season we will be taking an non perishable food item collection (the
food bank always needs more, even right after the big seasonal drives)
Remember Charity is a very period virtue.
There will be the tourney to select the Dragon Blade, Montengarde’s Rapier Champion.
House Ice Tiger will be hosting the Annual 12 Night Archery tournament.
There will also be a heavy tourney in the morning.
We will be sponsoring several A&S contests, including the annual
newbie garb contest, the best winter garb (in winter colours – white
grey silver black blues justify it as a colour that occurs in winter and
we may also decide to test the outfits outside :-), best new Codpiece, best humorous filk
on An Tir/Avacal theme and best seasonal performance piece, period hot
drink, and table top siege weapons for the snowball fight.
If I end up with more prizes than contests, we may just have to have more contests.
There will be events and contests for the children as well.
We may also have some Ithra Classes tba.
