Appledore’s premiere female persona development competition, encompassing all that it is to be a woman in today’s world. Today’s world being of course whatever era your persona exists in!
We encourage individuals to enter any of the categories of the Golden Swan Persona Challenge. The greatest challenge is to enter all the categories, prepare a full entry, and remain in persona for the entire weekend (actually about 36 hours).
In order to be considered for the full challenge, preliminary applications must be received by June 30th. For more information, visit Tournament of the Golden Swan – Home The event steward and the swan coordinator will be happy to talk to you about the challenge.

The Cawston Hall is wheelchair accessable.
Join us for the Golden Swan pot luck feast on Saturday night, and the Appledore Harvest pot luck on Sunday night. More details closer to the event.
The Appledore Heavy Combat Championship and the Appledore Rapier Championship will be fought. Details to come closer to the event.
Appledore is a small shire that welcomes and survives thanks to the support of all the members of the SCA who visit her lands. Volunteers will be needed for gate, combat support, feast coordinating, classes, and of course Swan Evaluators.
Current Covid precautions will be implemented as needed.
