Appledore’s premiere female persona development competition, encompassing all that it is to be a woman in today’s world. Today’s world being of course whatever era your persona exists in!
We encourage individuals to enter any of the categories of the Golden Swan Persona Challenge. The greatest challenge is to enter all the categories, prepare a full entry, and remain in persona for the entire weekend (actually about 36 hours).

Meal Information
There will be two potluck feasts, on Saturday and Sunday evenings. We have the use of a commercial kitchen at the Grist Mill.
A humble breakfast of oatmeal and applesauce will be available both mornings.
Lunch is on your own. There are grocery stores and convenience stores in Keremeos, only a kilometre away.
The feasts and most classes will be in the main pavilion in front of the Visitor’s Centre. It’s a 20×20′ tent with walls.
Tournament Information
The Appledore Heavy Combat Championship and the Appledore Rapier Championship will be fought. Details to come closer to the event.
Volunteer Information
Appledore is a small shire that welcomes and survives thanks to the support of all the members of the SCA who visit her lands. Volunteers will be needed for gate, combat support, feast coordinating, classes, and of course Swan Evaluators.
