A Taste of the Crusades.

A true Arabic feast will be presented for your dining pleasure featuring foods from Syria and Palestine. Dinner will begin with a traditional Meza (selection of Arab salads and appetizers), followed by hearty chicken and lamb dishes, soup, breads, and of course, delectable sweets.

A cookbook featuring the dishes of this feast will be available at the event as well.

There will be other events to satisfy your entertainment itch. “A Taste of the Crusades” will be featuring our ever popular and sought out Adeline’s Bop’N’Die.

These pursuits of amusement can be found in the Shire of Bordergate on the 20 day of November in the mundane year of 2004. The site will open at 12pm on Saturday and close at midnight.

This event will be taking place in the Cherry Grove Hall (no address): those coming through Alberta take highway 28 N&E through Bonnyville and turn right onto highway 55 East and follow signs, from Saskatchewan come to Alberta through Pierceland and follow Alberta highway 55 and then follow the signs.

The cost of this event will be $5 site only (members), $9 site only(non-members $4 NMS), $13 feast & site (members), $17 (non-members), ages 12-16 yrs half price (no non member fee) and under 12 years is free. Make cheques payable to “CSCA Canton of the Lakelands”
