This is a Level 1: Coronet Event (Principality Coronet Tournaments and Investitures) event.
There will be no food or beverages provided at this event. You will have to bring your own meals taking in consideration that there are no refrigeration appliances, or ways to heat any food items on site.
Please plan accordingly and contact the Event Steward with any question.
Steel fighters and Populace of the Summits:
Join me on Saturday, December 18 AS LVI (2021) at Philomath Scout Lodge (660 Clemens Mill Rd, Philomath, OR 97370) at the much anticipated investiture of their Excellencies Viscount Luciano Foscari and HL Tessina Felice Gianfigliazzi, where I will have the honor of throwing the 26th Summits Rapier Championships to determine the next Captain of Cats.
Per the instructions of their Excellencies and Highnesses, combatants must be members of the Summits or ask (and gain) permission.
Time of tournament if TBD, but early in the day. Plan accordingly!
Please remember to inspect your equipment and re-read the An Tir Book of Rapier Combat BEFORE you pack your gear and leave for the tournament.
Be prepared to process and introduce your inspiration and yourself (with your lineage) to the Crown and Coronets.
Please bring a list shield for the list board: the populace in attendance and at home wants to know who is fighting whom, and how everyone is progressing.
Format of the tournament will depend on the number of entrants, but most likely either be round-robin to top 2 or 4; or a standard double-elim, reminiscent of the days of yore!
