Every year, archers vie for the honour of being the Marksman of
Seagirt. Come test your skill! Watch the competition and take part
in a relaxed weekend of the best of summer camping in the

SCA. Games, bardic,
rapier, armoured fighting, and thrown weapons events will happen in
addition to the archery Championship.

The event will be held at the Cobble Hill Fairgrounds, across the
road from the Cobble Hill Hall. There is a field which can
accommodate camping, fighting scenarios and an archery
range. We will also have the use of two buildings on the
property with flush toilets.
The Marksman Tournament will
start at 9:30am on Sunday July 2.

Saturday will be spent doing as much of the SCA things you love to
do as you want to do (providing marshals are
available).

The archery range will be open most of the day (subject to
marshals).

There will be thrown weapons!

There can be as much rapier as you want: fight all day! (or take
time out during the hot parts to visit the Enchanted Ground for
refreshments)

There will also be an Enchanted Ground area in which I encourage
people to share their favourite period refreshment recipes. This is
an area where nothing blaringly modern is allowed (eye glasses and
such are ok, but complaining about modern politics is not). Come
try to be in persona, or geek out about medieval stuff!

There is a Argent and Gules in any medium contest. Projects may be
in progress.

Merchants are welcome; please contact the
event steward in advance.
