A Midsummer Night’s Fleece!

Beauregaard, the Fabulous Golden Fleece of Ramsgaard, has enjoyed his sojourn in Wales with his Guaardian, but, as is his wont, he became bored and ran off from his protector. He was last seen in London, where word has it that he was collaborating with a certain Bard writing scurrilous plays!

We ask all who would vie for the position of Beauregaard’s protector to come to the Shire of Ramsgaard on the weekend of March 15-17 to compete in the multiple challenges required to become Ram’s Guaardian! Write your sonnets and bring your best puns!

Once again we are in the North Thompson Fall Fair Hall, on the south side of the Agriplex grounds, east of Dunn Lake Road. Please use this address in your search engine to ensure you don’t miss the turn:

693 Barriere Lakes Rd, Barrière, BC V0E 1E1 Canada

    • Your item can be made in any medium and materials.
    • Theme:
      • Beauregaard takes the place of Puck and stays as a Ram, rather than a donkey and shows his value to Oberon & Titania.

    • Prize: It’s a “sur-prize”!

    • They don’t have to be identical. Examples: 3 pouches, necklaces etc.

There are already several valiant individuals assisting in the selection of the very best-est Guaardian, but we need more! For example:

  • Site set-up and tear-down crews
  • Marshals of all varieties
  • Lists volunteers
  • Kitchen helpers
  • Gate staff/helpers
  • … And more!

Some coordinator positions are still open plus many little jobs that make an event run smoothly.
