How can one Shire have so much fun? How can one Shire put on such a multi-faceted event? Come to the Shire of Ambergard for the Oasis War and find out. Warriors remember this is the first war of the season, come out and play. Merchants are very welcome, with no additional merchant fee. Peddlers Packs are welcome at the tavern.
War/Event Information: Site fee is $7.00 for adults and $4.00 6 to 13, under 6 free. Make checks payable to SCA Inc. Shire of Ambergard. Remember this includes tavern admission and food. For those of you not able to stay for the tavern please take part in the field food the shire is providing, also included in the site fee. The War site opens at 10:30 AM.
Tavern Information: For the second year in a row we will be holding a tavern, not a pot-luck. The shire will be providing the food as part of the site fee. Check out our web site for the tavern fare as we firm up the event. Vegetarian fare is available. For your entertainment we will hold a rapier combat (by insult). We are also looking for any wandering minstrels and bards to help entertain as well. The Tavern site opens at 12:00 Noon.
Site Information: The war field will be at the Ephrata Middle School, 384 A. Street SE. The Tavern will be held at the Ephrata Recreational Center, 112 Basin Street SW. Both sites are the same we used last year, if you were among those to attend. Look for SCA Signs. The Tavern will close at midnight.
Autocrat Information: The autocrats are Baroness Olivia Visconti (Bambi Libby) and Lord Jay of Lille (Jay Runnion), 24 E. Street NE, Ephrata, WA 98823, (509) 754-7155, moc.nsm@yaJdnaibmaB
