1. This is a Level 1: Principality Event (Avacal/Tir Righ War, Principality A&S, etc.) event.

Cost: Gate is $30, $10 discount for members. 17 and under are free.

Murder in the Desert will host championships to determine Shire Heavy Defender, Adult and Youth Archery Champions, and Rapier Champion. Murder in the Desert will also host the Captain of Eagles Tournament.

There will be a 2-hour resurrection war scenario. Bring a treasure to defend. The war scenario pits landed troops (this means armored combat teams) against each other, defending and attacking each other on our staged Summits map. The combat victors are those who have the most “treasure” at the end of the fighting.

We ask that everyone bring a contribution to the ‘War Chest’. Attendees will be asked to form teams (murders) and will score points for participating in various activities at the event. Activities will include an All-ages Scavenger Hunt, period gaming, war scenarios, and bardic. Scoring will be done prior to Saturday night’s potluck and the winners will be announced during the potluck. The most active ‘murder’ at the event is the winning team and they will be the first to choose something from the ‘War Chest’, Everyone will have an opportunity to choose from the ‘chest’ according to how their team scored.
