Journey to the fair lands of the Shire of Druim Doineann. On
Friday night, after the home is tended to
(those with 5 or more tents need to contact our Chamberlain –
campsites are limited), enjoy a Dessert Potluck &
Bardic Social
.

Saturday, join the lists and compete for the
championships in heavy armored combat, thrown weapons, and
arts and sciences (you will need 3 different area entries
with historical documentation). Other competitions include:
Garb Promenade Competition (peasant/work
garb, courtly/feast garb, combat garb/armor, children’s
garb, ‘anachronistic’ garb, ‘best of
show’), the Most Authentic
Encampment/Pavilion
, Best Donation to Shire
Gold Key
, Best Bardic Song or Poem, Best
Eulogy for your favorite Fallen Warrior
(to be
performed during potluck feast) and the Medieval Life
Museum
(should you wish to display an item in our
museum for the day, please contact our co-autocrat). Ladies
may join the hunt for the gifted-egg that crowns them
Lady of the May and she may choose her lord
(we will also have a youth egg hunt for a Junior Lord
& Lady of the May
).

Food &
Wares Vendors are being sought – please contact the
autocrat

Archers compete for best of score – Rapier fighters do
what they do best – aaargh. A potluck
feast
will end the day – the shire will
provide the beast and fowl (reservations appreciated). Guests
are asked for the following – those with modern last
names ending A-G – breads; H-N – salads
(fruit/vegetable/pasta); O-U –
appetizers/accompaniments; V-Z – desserts. It is
recommended for serving sizes of 10.

This is
our public demo – Saturday, April 29 – 10am-4pm –
so, come – show off to the modern townfolk and
enjoy!!

Remember this is a dry-site (grange policy) and county
ordinance has quiet time between 11p and 8a.

Fees are as follows (the $3 NMS applies) – $12/adult;
$6/youth (6-14); free under 6; Day trip – $7/adult; $4/youth
(6-14). Checks are to be made payable to: The Shire of Druim
Doineann, SCA, Inc.
