Tournament Information

Adiantum Heavy Champion’s Tourney FORMAT: Round robin (if fewer than 6 fighters, double round robin) Highest Precedence holds the field first, then down the OP HERALDIC NOTE: Before the first bout, circle up for introductions. ENTRY REQUIREMENT: During introductions, you must tell a joke. It does not have to be a good joke. …but please make it safe for the public. WEAPONS: Bring your best

Terra Pomaria’s Rapier Champion:

Hold the field with a 3 of 5 finals.
Terra Pomaria’s Champion of Arts and Sciences:
In planning the search for my successor, I have been inspired by other competitions where the contestants are asked to teach what they know. As our Barony is enriched by newcomers, this year the Arts and Sciences championship will focus on how you would present your subject at a Demo, to someone who has never interacted with the SCA.
Entry Requirements:
1. DIsplay of one Art or Science. Your display must be geared towards presenting it at a demo that is open to the public. As most demos have space restrictions, your display should take up half a folding table (about 3.5 ft). If more space or a different type of space is needed, please contact me ahead of time. This also applied for the need for electricity and other special requirements.
2. Written Element. Provide a write up on how to show your particular Art or Science at a demo. This should include a list of what to have, and the best way to present it. Also, how to avoid safety concerns, if warranted. Written documentation of your sources is not required, but be prepared to discuss your sources with the judges.
3. Presentation. When you are talking to the judges, you must present (at first) the way you would at a demo. Be prepared to answer questions.
If you plan to enter, please contact me so that I can provide enough table space and appropriate judges.

Youth and Family Activities

Youth A&S displays, classes for our younger members, Assassins Guild cookie deliveries and a giant board game.

The teen space will have hangout space, some games, and a medievalish maker space (self-directed with help from a knowledgeable teen). And it should have a great view of the list field!

Youth classes will be open to all youth but focused more on the younger-than-teens who need more hands-on help, and will include needle felting, wire rings, and a TBD thread or yarn or beading activity.

Giant Game of Goose: play with the provided game token or your favorite plushy.
