Athenaeum is an Arts & Sciences showcase event sponsored by the Barony of Madrone with an opportunity for presenters to speak with & get feedback from members of the Order of the Laurel and fellow artists and artisans in a non-competition setting.  There will also be a Baronial and Royal Court.

Athenaeum Schedule:

Our available space for Exhibitors is full.

Accessibility Information

The site access is level and paved and all the activities on one level.  However, it is 50 yards from the nearest drop off to the building, and more like 100 yards from the nearest parking (Even handicapped parking).

Meal Information

The Madrone Culinary Guild will again be providing a cold box lunch for $10.   You can reserve your lunch during your advance registration, or a limited number will be available the day of the event.

This year the we are offering a Venetian menu with historical recipes sourced from Anonimo Veneziano, a late 14th early 15th century recipe manuscript

The Main meal is:
Venetian sausages (Pork)
Salad
Green Vegetable Torta
Almonds in Spiced Honey
Marscarpone
Fresh Fruit

We have vegetarian and Gluten Free options, but you will need to request such when you pre-register.

If you have other dietary restrictions, please reach out and discuss with us, we are happy to understand your specific situation and see if we can determine an accommodation within the planned cuisine.
