Kingdom of the West (Yreka, CA)

As the sun peaks in strength, so does the restlessness of the An Tirian
Warriors. WAR will soon tear at our friendly borders and the West Kingdom
does call to arms all heavy fighters, light fighters, rapiers, archers and
equestrians alike.

We have established a location friendly to warriors and travelers alike – we
hope it will please all. This year’s West/An Tir War will be at Greenhorn
Park in Yreka California, for though of you familiar with the pare we will
be using the entire park. The location is a quick jaunt off I-5 and at a
cooler mountain elevation. May honor be thy force and victory sweet.

Site Info: Site opens at Noon Friday and closes at 5:00 Sunday. Horse camp
will be primitive and Equestrians will need to bring their own portable
corral systems. If you plan to bring horses, please register with the
Equestrian Coordinator. All merchants must pre register with the Merchant
Coordinator. There is no electricity, but there are some water spigots.

Site Fee: $15 for members, $18 for non-members and $7 for children 6-10, 5
and under free.

Site Restrictions: NO CARS OR HORSES ALLOWED ON THE GRASS. Dogs, cats and
other pets must be on leashes with the other end attached to someone or
something secure or securely contained (City Ordinance). West Kingdom fire
rules will be strictly enforced. No fireworks or powder are allowed in the
park. There is a creek and a reservoir, so children must be properly
attended at all times. No swimming.

Directions: From the South: Take 1-5 North to Yreka. Take the first exit
(Hwy 3), turn left and go under 1-5 and go to the stop light
>From the North: Take 1-5 South to Yreka. Take the third exit (Hwy 3), turn
right and go to the stop light – At the stoplight turn right. Proceed north
on South Main St. for 4/10 of a mile. Turn left onto Greenhorn Rd and
continue for 1/2 mile to the Upper Park entrance on the left. After
unloading, move your vehicle to the parking area next to Lower Greenhorn
Park. (From Upper Greenhorn Park, turn right on Greenhorn Rd, take your
second right, Oregon St, and your next right on Ranch Ln. Continue straight
to the old red schoolhouse for parking across the street. This is also the
location for the Merchants Entrance.
