Aaaaaahhhhh!!!!!
Pillage Practice has arrived once again!
To shoot some arrows, pillage and drink tea all in the same
event! Indeed!! All in the rapture of hosting
Sigelhundas’ Archery and Heavy Tourneys to select our
new Shire champions.

The Pillage
Practice site located at Camp Gillwell in the
Qu’Appelle Valley is one of the most peaceful, scenic
event locations close to Regina. With an inviting fireplace
in the Great Hall or the fire pit near by, we ask one and all
to come and practice their bardic skills to entertain each
other until either they grow weary for their pillows or the
sun breaks the horizon.

Heated cabins (that
sleep 14-16 people each) as well as the Great Hall are
available for those who wish to nestle their heads indoors,
however be wary as you will need to bring something to sleep
on lest you enjoy a good wooden floor. If you are daring
enough there is plenty of room for tenting, but please be
sure to bring extra bedding, as the nights can be
“crisp”.
 If
you are not in the mood to bring rations for Saturday
evening, there will be a tavern style feast available for a
small fee. This feast will include a stew or soup of some
variety, breads and dessert.

 There
are no showers on site, but a motel room approximately 10
minutes (by car) from the site will be available. It may be
used by anyone who wishes.  Please bring
your own towel and be respectful of others that will also be
using it. If you wish there is water on site (not
drinkable)
for cleaning oneself up if you do not
wish to drive to the
shower.
