Rivers Region has a long legacy of teaching and instructive events from Ithras to War College to Sport of Kings.The An Tir Arts Academy, “Living the Dream, the Arts of the SCA” is planned as an event which will encompass the spectrum and diversity of interests that characterize the SCA. Six to seven tracks of classes will be presented over a four days, culminating in a day of tournaments and presentations, feasts and festivities. On the final day, many of the skills and items created during the prior days will be presented.There will be fighting tournaments, a fashion parade, dancing, bardic performances and a Grand Feast.There will also be a Children‘s track with young people‘s versions of these same activities – simple cooking, simple music, simple dancing. Boffer fighting, simple crafts, etc.
