Accessibility Information

Bathrooms:

There are two sets of public bathrooms with accessible stalls: one on the main event level on the east side between the barns and youth activities and the second in the President’s Hall.

Accessible port-a-potties and hand-washing stations are throughout the site.

Golf Carts:

Golf carts with mapped stops and some seating are distributed throughout the site and those who need to be delivered to an on-site location rather than a stop will be able to do so.

Mobility access:

The main event site paths are paved but there are three slopes around the site.

The first is a relatively short hill between the camping and the main level of the site; this is not paved, although it is generally well-packed. This can be avoided by going to Gordon Field Parking and walking along the fence in the lot or by catching a golf cart.

The second is to the Boand arena; a steep paved path descends from the upper level. Golf carts are available to take you through parking.

The third hill is fairly steep and goes from the food merchant area near the President’s Hall to the Pavilion parking. A walking path just to the south is available for those who want a less steep path.

Quiet Space

The ‘Chillvilion’ will be available for a quiet space with fidgets and seating. Signage pointing to it will be throughout the event, and it will be located on the site map.

Parking:

Designated parking will be available in both Gordon Field Parking (SCA Camping and day trip until full) as well as the Pavilion Parking Lot (SCA and Modern attendees)

Service Animals:

Service animals are allowed in all public spaces, including the President’s Hall.

For additional questions, please reach out to our EDIB Officer, HL Jessy Gateman

Volunteer Information

Volunteers!

Volunteer Coordinator

Pre-event, monitor the Volunteer Form for people interested in volunteering for the event to put them in touch the the area coordinator (Gate, Martials, Setup and Tear down Crews) or get their information to get them scheduled (Golf Carts, Volunteer Tent, Fire Watch).

During Setup, get the volunteer area set up with supplies, snacks, radio sign up, and the schedule available. Update the volunteer schedule for those who had to cancel or for new volunteers filling slots, and for new positions.

You are not expected to spend your event IN the volunteer tent although regularly scheduled check-ins, especially around shift changes make things smoother. For more information, please contact Ciar or Dammit or email jfchair@dragonslaire.org.

Schedule Coordinator

Receive schedule details from the various parts of June Faire, get them arranged in easy to refer to tables for posting to the Baronial Website! Great way to get to know various officers and event staff and can be done from home. We do NOT expect live updating during the event (unless you’re seriously into it).

A more detailed call for volunteers with descriptions will be up soon! We will also be able to use volunteers during the event!

For more information, please contact Ciar or Dammit or email jfchair@dragonslaire.org.

Community Support Coordinator

Love talking to people? Don’t love it but you’re happy to drive around to gather supplies?

Build on the great work from last year and reach out to Community Partners for support for our volunteers and participants. We are looking for 1 or more people to contact stores and organizations (we have a list!) for supplies for water bearing and the volunteer tent and then follow up to pick up items.

For more information, please contact Ciar or Dammit or email jfchair@dragonslaire.org.

Volunteer Form

Coming soon! We will have need of people to drive Golf Carts, sit at information/ghosting points, assist in the volunteer tent, martials, fire watch, and more!

Merchant Information

Merchant Registration has closed! Please address all questions and interest for 2025 to jf_merchants@dragonslaire.org.

If you are interested in doing a demo? Please contact Master Arontius at jf_artssciences@dragonslaire.org. Art, Craft, Science! Fiber! Woodworking! Food! Armor! Games! Garb displays!

Garb display:

The founders of the Pride Garb Challenge want to see it grow and have encouraged the populace at large. The organizers of the garb display at June Faire have decided to showcase Pride garb this year and are requesting items to display along with dress forms. If you would like to display your Pride garb at June Faire, please contact HL Jessie Gateman, and she will put you in touch with the people running it.
