My lords and ladies, pray attend! 
The Shire of Hauksgarðr invites you to share a potluck feast on
August the 3^rd at the Port of Cascade Locks Park. There
will be much revelry.

We will be holding our 2^nd annual
Heavy Defender’s Tourney to select the Shield of
Hauksgrðr for our Shire, while the position of Defender is open
only to the populace of the Shire, we invite all fighters to come
test the mettle of our potentials to insure we have the very best.
The tourney will be in the Holmgang Style.

For the Artsy people: Fear Not! 

The A&S competitions for the day will be a
populace choice cooking contest, period-type entries are
encouraged, a Best Representation of a Hawk in any medium (the
categories will be most bazar by populace choice and best
documentation) there will also be a general bardic circle towards
the end of our potluck feast before our Seneshal’s
audience.

We will also be holding a fundraiser! For a
small fee you can buy and decorate your own team of marshmallow
jousters and compete through the rounds to win the Microwave
Jousting tourney. Put forward just a bit more to purchase a bar
wench and get that extra edge in a round.

contest during feast)

07:00 pm Fyrd Ceremony

09:00 pm Site Closes

10:00 pm Clean-up done

Please remember that some people have food allergies so please
bring a label with your ingredients.  Bring enough food to
feed your family and 10 people or more. 

Site fees:

Adults: $7
Youth (6-17 years old):$5
Children (under 5 years old): free
$5 NMS applies for adults
