Winter War

March 8-10, 2013

Barony of Borealis
Edmonton, AB

At winter’s end warriors weary of their camps and await the
all to march forth, the cry is sounded for Winter War. Join the
Barony of Borealis in a day filled with Martial combat and other
activities and enjoy a potluck dinner

War points will be awarded in Heavy, Rapier, Archery, Arts &
Sciences and Bardic competitions. Young peoples events, including
youth combat, will also contribute to war points. Details on
scenarios will be posted on the lists. Other war points will
include volunteering contributions and a secret war point

Fees: Adults $15, youth 12-17 $7 A $5 NMS applies to all adults who
do not show proof of Membership. Make cheques payable to SCA

4:00pm Bardic Competition
5:30pm Potluck dinner
7:30pm Court

A-E: Salads (Potato, Coleslaw, Green veggie plates, Pickles &
Beets)
F-J: Cold Meats, Cheeses and Egg Dishes
K-O: Bread & (spread & dips)
P-S Nuts & Fruits (Fruit Salad, Fruit Plates (Dried or
Fresh)
T-Z: Desserts

Figure on a serving size of 1/2 cup
Some hot dishes will be provided by the Borealis Culinary guild
A cash bar will be on site
