Their Excellencies Baron Refr and Baroness Svava warmly invite the
populace of the Barony of Dragon’s Mist  to join them in celebrate a
fruitful year within the Barony at Kenton Grange.


We will be having classes, games, dancing, gaming (as baronial
fundraiser), entertainment as well as rapier and heavy fighting
tournaments


 


Gate opens at Noon with events though out the day. There is no site
fee
.


Noon:              
Site opens to public; please keep parking spots near the doors open
for the elderly and disabled. 


1:00 PM           
Rapier / Armored Combat opens for authorization and
inspections


1:30 PM           
A&S Classes & Combat Begin!

The feast will begin at 6 p.m. with the Barony providing the meat.
We ask that you provide a dish based on the land that your persona
comes from.

Activities:

Dessert
contest (Yum!),
we
will have a period dessert contest after the feast; entries should
serve 8-12 people. Please include a list of the ingredients for
those with food allergies
.


Heraldic Table Decorating Contest


(
Open
flames are okay, but must be enclosed and the container must be an
inch above the flame)

Children’s
Gift:
The
Barony will be providing a gift to children 11 and
under.

Adult Gift
Exchange (12 and over):
Since
it will also be the season of giving and receiving gifts, we ask
all attendees to bring with them a small gift to exchange. This
could be something you have bought, or something you have made. We
aim for no-one to leave the event empty-handed.  Please wrap gifts for gentlemen
in black and gifts for ladies in red ($10.00 cap
please).  Items
offered can be gently used items, offers of craftsmanship services,
or something creative


Other Activities:


Sergeantry ~Children’s games ~Crafts ~Italian Hair Taping
~Kumihimo (Japanese braiding) ~ Gaming (as baronial
fundraiser)


We will also have at least four merchants in
attendance.


There will be a dirty half dozen largess
contest
.


Time to pull out all your skills and equipment!!! Make 6 items, all
the same. Contestants of the dirty half dozen will vote on best
entry. Winner takes home 1 of each item made from all contestants.
The rest goes to kingdom.


Imagine all that loot you could be taking
home!!!


Please bring your cards, dice or other games to share.


If you would like to volunteer to do any job (set-up, gate,
clean-up crew, etc), or most especially if you are a musician and
would like to play during the evening ball, please also make
yourself known to the Event Stewards:
