A&S Competitions for OctoberFeast:
Oktoberfest is a time of eating and making merry. In keeping with
this theme we will have:

A Subtlety
contest
– a subtlety is a food illusion – food worked to
look like something else, an edible design or decoration. This will
be populace choice. No documentation required but highly
encouraged. Non- period foods, such as rice crispy treats, may be
used, but use of period foods is highly encouraged.

OctoberFeast A&S
Championship Tournament:
 Entrants will be required to
provide documentation and will be asked to stay with their piece
during judging. As a favor to your A&S minister, please drop me
a note and let me know generally what you are entering so I can
have someone on hand who knows enough about your subject matter to
judge it properly. You may enter referenced research papers.

There will also be 2
categories of Children’s entries
:
8 and under: all kids who enter will receive a prize and a chance
to show off their skills. No documentation necessary. (No winner be
chosen, but all kids will be called up in court.)
9-16: This will be a judged category. There will be a 1 reference
minimum and entrant may use Wikipedia (or any other source). We
will ask entrants to stay by their piece during judging so that the
judges may ask questions. Research papers on period subjects may be
entered.

Mead and Cordials
