Come join the
Shire as once again we gather to find out who will defend us for
the upcoming year.

We have need of
a Heavy Defender and a Rapier Defender

as our current
Defenders may be tiring and have need to return to their families
and lands.

This can also be
a time to polish up the war skills as this is the last weekend
before AnTir/West.

 

This is a
camping event with site opening Friday June 22 at 2pm for the
populace and noon for merchants.

Please no early
arrivals unless you have cleared it with the Autocrat.

Gate will open
Saturday June 23 at 8am.

 

There will be a
Traveler Soup dinner on Friday evening at 6ish for a donation of
$4.

The Shire will
be hosting a dessert social in our encampment around the firepit on
Saturday night.

 

After the
Tournaments the Shire will once again host the war between
ourselves and Fire Mountain Keep.

One of our own has been
wrongly accused of double dipping while at a feast hosted by Fire
Mountain Keep, and that Shire has declared that war is the only way
to be vindicated. Sir Edward tried with all his might to avoid this
war but the populace of the northern Shire said
“Nay” and so war must
ensue.

   We need to come
together and defend our Shire’s honor!!

 Friday – June
22^nd

Gate opens noon for merchants, 2pm
for Populace

6ish there will be a Traveler’s Soup
dinner for a donation of $4 (paid to the cook)

After dinner there will be a
children’s Trade Blanket

9ish
– There will be an Adults Trade Blanket

 Fire
Social at the Shire encampment – Bring a chair and join the
fun.

 

 Saturday – June
23^th

 

 8am –
Gates open

 Day shades are encouraged and
you can drive on site to drop gear.

11
am – Armor inspection

 

12
to 3pm – Tourneys will start

Awards giving after the
tournaments

 

3 to
5pm – Mountain-River War

 

The
Shire will be hosting a dessert social around the Shire fire
pit.

Bring a dessert to share, a chair
to sit upon and sit back and enjoy.

 

Sunday – June
24^th

  Pack down and
safe travels home. Folks should be offsite by
5pm.

 

Gate
fee:

$5 NMS fee
will apply. Make checks payable to Shire of River’s Bend/SCA,
Inc.
