Lebus XII: The Legend Continues

Shire of Coeur du Val

August 13-15, 2010

The Shire of Coeur du Val again welcomes you to join us in
celebrating the siege of Lebus Castle by Ludwig of Thuringia.
On Friday night, witness the spectacle of pavilion racing,
and enjoy some stone soup with fellow travelers to our shire.
On saturday, we’ll have an Archery Competition and a Belly
Dancing Class. We will hold a standard Double elimination
tournament, as well as Our Annual Blind Man’s and Mythical
Beastie Tourney. There will be an Islamic Architecture class
and a class on Period German foodstuffs, as well as a Faux de
Pas competition, brewing contest and siege cooking contest!.
Rapier fighters will have a tourney, as will those who enjoy
jousting with fun-noodles! A potluck, dancing, and our
infamous torchlight tourney and bardic end the evening. Not
To worry! Sunday will witness a youth combat tourney, A
lioness’ tourney, Missile combat tourney and a Period fight
book technique competition! It’s literally more fun in a
weekend than you can swing a stick at!

The site is North Albany Park, (2800 NW Hillcrest, Albany,
Oregon, 97321). Site opens at 3:00 PM Friday, closes 5:00 Pm
