Midhaven Champions Tournament/Emprise of the Sable Rose Shire of Midhaven
June 20-22, 2008 Mt. Vernon, WA
You are invited to attend the Midhaven Champions tournament and the Emprise of the Sable Rose. Two events for the price of one!!!
On Saturday compete to be the Shire of Midhaven’s Champion in Heavy Armored Combat, Rapier, Archery, Darts, Thrown Weapons, A&S, Youth A&S, (no documentation required for either A&S), Youth Combat, and Equestrian.
Saturday evening, join the Company of the Sable Rose for a potluck (bring a dish) and then compete to become Midhaven’s Bardic Champion at the BARDIC CIRCLE. Salmon will be provided as a main dish at the potluck.
Sunday, watch the best of the best compete in the Emprise of the Sable Rose. Try your skills in Fine Rapier combat, Exciting Equestrian challenges, Heavy Armored Pas d’Arms and pageantry that has to be seen to believe!
Archers, Join us Sunday for York Rounds.
We will also be having a silent auction to benefit the An Tir Disaster Relief fund so bring an item to donate and/or your checkbook.

Site Information: Skagit County Fairgrounds, 1400 Virginia St., Mount Vernon, WA 98284. Site opens at 3pm on Friday, June 20 and closes at 7pm on Sunday, June 22. Site Fee : $12.00 for18 and over + $3.00 Adult non-member surcharge for the weekend; $8.00 for ages 6-17; 5 and under are free. Family cap $40.00. $2.00 off for daytrippers. (Equestrian site fee will be different, watch the website for this info) Make checks payable to the "Shire of Midhaven, SCA Inc."
