May Crown Tournament Shire of Ambergard May 19 – 21,
2006 Grant County, WA A. S. XLI Their Royal Majesties
Courageous and Sage King Sven Falgr Gunarson and the
Beautiful and Wise Queen Signy Oxendahl invite the populace
of An Tir to join them for May Crown. Your hosts for May
Crown is the Shire of Ambergard. There will be the Crown
Tournament to find who An Tir’s next Royal Prince and
Princess will be. There will also be many other fun and
interesting activities including merchants, rapier fighting,
archery, thrown weapons, and equestrian. Meetings and Ithra
Classes will also be going on. There will be much, much more
as well. Please keep checking the shire web pages for
up-dates as information becomes available. You will also find
the information for our Map Maker HL Bronwen Elgars. PLEASE
MAKE NOTE THAT THE ERIC IS FULL. Large group camping and RV’s
are still open for reservations. No reservations will be
accepted after May 5th., Our Merchant Steward is HL Pegleg,
and Our Equestrian Marshal is Companion Oso. The site will
open to merchants at 12:00 noon on Friday May 19th. The site
opens to the populace at 3:00 PM also on Friday May 19th. The
event closes at 5:00 PM on Sunday May 21. Site fee will be
adult members $15.00, children ages 6 – 17 are $7.00,
and children under 5 are free. Make checks payable to SCA
Inc., Shire of Ambergard. For non-members there will also be
an additional $3.00 Non-Member Surcharge. Please note that we
will only accept U.S. Cash and Checks. The site will be at
the Grant County Fair Grounds in Moses Lake WA. The address
for the site is 3953 Airway Drive NE, Moses Lake, WA 98837.
Directions: I-90 take exit 179 onto HWY 17 Northbound. Follow
HWY 17 around Moses Lake to Grape Drive (4th stop light).
Take a left onto Grape Drive, stay on Grape Drive till you
come to West Valley RD. Equestrians will take a right onto N.
Paxton. General camping will turn right onto Airway Drive NE
(the next road). Follow the SCA signs. Autocrat: Mistress
