Greetings unto the Populace of AnTir, as we awake from hibernation, the Shire of Shittemwoode offers you dreams of Spring. The morning dew on the grass, tender buds on the trees, the sound of rattan on metal… Join us as our benefactor Sir Edward Zifran of Gendy will be on hand to relive days gone by and celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Sir Edwards Tourney.

We will have various tournaments and competitions including Heavy Champion, Rapier Champion, Archery Contest, Thrown Weapons Contests, Bardics, Brewing Contests, Arts and Science displays children’s activities and competitions, and much more. Great prizes for all tournaments and competitions, including heraldic arms in needlepoint for our Heavy Chivalry winner and Rapier winner crafted by none other that our own Sir Edward! All Heavy and Rapier fighters are asked to bring a drawing or picture of their heraldic arms or badge.

We invite you to the hearth where the fabulous Shire cooks will be offering morn, noon, snacks and evening meals for purchase. Saturday evening a succulent feast to include many beast and foul. Pre-sale feast ticket available now: $10.00, or under age 10, $7.00. ($13 and $10 the day of feast). But be sure to bring your purse for the infamous Shittemwoode dessert auction!

Merchants travel from far and wide to bring their exotic wares for every cottage and castle need. Merchants: Please Contact the merchantocrat for sign up and information on how to sponsor a prize for a competition.

Both indoor and outdoor camping will be available. Indoor is available in heated cabins for an additional $8 per night per person by pre-registration through the dormocrat.

Site opens: 3 p.m. Friday 11th and closes 3 p.m. Sunday, 13th. Weekend Member Site fee: Adults $10.00, 12 and under $5.00, Family cap $30.00. Weekend Non-Member Site fee: Adults $13.00, 12 and under $5.00, Family cap $36.00. Make checks payable to SCA Inc. (Shire of Shittemwoode).

Directions to site: Take I-5 to exit #246 at North Lake Samish. From the South, turn right at the stop sign. From the north, turn left. Follow the road bearing right, away from I-5. Pass Samish Park; go straight across the bridge and onto Roy Rd. Lutherwood is at the end of Roy Rd.
