Spring is in the air!

The Barony of Montengarde invites one and all to their annual
celebration of Beltaine. This year’s theme is “The Wicker Man”.

Location: #7 â?? 11th Street NE (The Rehab Centre)
[for Montengarde residents, it is the same location of fight
practice, dance practice and A&S night]

Directions: From Memorial Drive get northbound on 12th Street NE
(just north of the Zoo), hang a left onto McDougall, second left onto
11th St, last building on the right

Day Site Fee: $6 for SCA Members
$10 for non-members
$3 for children 12 and under
Family rate (including 2 adults and 2 children):
$15 for members / $20 for non-members

Make cheques payable to: Mountain Society for Creative Anachronism
Please note: The NMS has been incorporated into the above-noted site
fee for non-members. Bring proof of membership! Acceptable proof of
this shall be a valid SCA membership card, a valid Crier or
Tournaments Illuminated mailing label, valid membership indicated on
recent An Tir mailing list, or postcard from SCA Registry indicating
valid membership.

MIDNIGHT Hall closes

FEAST is POT LUCK
Please bring a dish with 6 servings. We would ask that the type of
dish be according to mundane last name:

A-K (and smalls): dessert L-P: vegetable Q-Z: protein

Do not bring breads, buns or rolls – they will be provided. Please
bring a dish to serve 6 and ensure your dishes and serving utensils
(don’t forget those) are well identified!!!!!!

BARDIC COMPETITIONS:
Designed in the spirit of the occaision, “Knees Shake” and “Heart
Break”, you can enter one or both, one entry to encourage desire
and/or one dedicated to love gone horribly awry. They can be filks,
songs, or stories, but they must be WRITTEN by the competitor,
original works only. If you have any questions, please contact
