Lionhearts Tournament Barony of Madrone June 14-16, 2002
Issaquah, WA The Barony of Madrone cordially invites the
warriors of AnTir – heavy, rapier & archery –
to compete for the honor of serving as Baron Fiach and
Baroness Anne-Marie’s new Baronial Champions. Archery
& Rapier are prize tournaments as well, with the new
Champions chosen from those competitors who declare their
intention to serve as Champion. The new site allows for both
archery York Rounds and Equestrian activities. The site is
close to the heart of our barony, and after consulting the
heavens; this autocrat sees portents of good weather. We look
forward to seeing each of you there. Activities: 

Inc., Barony of Madrone Site Information:  Site opens
at noon, Friday, June 14th, and closes at 5pm, Sunday, June
16th.  Site is discreetly wet, so please monitor the
minors in your area.  Horses and Pets (on-leash)
welcome.  MERCHANTS WELCOME – No Merchants Fee.
Merchants will be positioned around the erics.  WATER
– There is a stream and a small amount of non-potable
water available on-site. Please bring your own drinking
water.  PARKING – With the exception of
Handicapped Parking, Autocrat, and Shuttle Vehicles, there is
NO on-site parking. You may drive on-site to load and unload
only. There is a King County Metro Park & Ride Lot
4-blocks to the north. All vehicles will remain at the
P&R during the event. A shuttle service will be provided
between the P&R and event site. For those wishing to
walk, there will be a sidewalk along SR 900 between the site
and the Park & Ride Lot. 
CAMPERS/MOTORHOMES– By pre-registration only, please
contact the autocrat.  RIVER WARNING – There is
a small river running along the entire western edge of the
site.  ALLERGY WARNING – Our site is a horse
pasture, with Equestrian activities along the entire south
edge, so those with allergies, please remember to bring any
necessary medication. Directions:  Take your best
route to I-90 heading towards Issaquah.  Take the
Lake Sammamish State Park / Renton / SR 900 Exit –
(Exit No. 15).  Head South (towards Renton) on SR 900
for approximately 1 mile.  Site driveway is on your
left. Drive past the houses, over the river, and thru the
gate.  Site is Kelly Farm, located at 7212
