Long and Short of It Terra Pomaria
August 24-26 Keizer, Oregon
Terra Pomaria invites you to our Long and Short of It event at Willamette Mission State Park, Keizer, OR. Gate will open at 3pm on Friday and close at 1:00 p.m. Sunday. Saturday’s events include our annual helm auction and a heavy tourney to be fought bear-pit style with the top four finishers fighting the best two of three in the semi-finals and finals. There will be two simultaneous tournaments – one to determine our defender and the other for those who just want to fight. The weapon style for the tournament is Sword and Dagger in the style of the Florentines. Any single handed sword and any dagger under 18″ in total length used in combination. There will also be a Siege Weapon contest judged by the Baroness and the Baron will be judging a costume contest. A Pied Piper will be onsite for the children.
Rapiers! There will be a tournament, so come out and play with us!
Site fee is $10.00 per person. Children ages 1 – 6 are $4.00,
Babes in arms are free. Make checks payable to SCA, Inc., Barony of Terra Pomaria.
Merchants! You are welcome for a merchant fee, we would ask for a donation to the prize basket!
All pets must be leashed and all fires must be 12 inches or higher off the ground. (Subject to change per Fire Marshall)
