Calling all Adult and Youth Archers, Thrown Weapons Throwers and Tossers! Come usher in the new Order of the Mark as you work on your Rounds and Compete for the Honor of representing the Shire of River’s Bend as Adult Archery Champion and Youth Archery Champion. We’ll also have an Adult and Child Team Archery Shoot, Novelty Shoot, and Novelty Throw (we hear Plague RATS have returned…)

Other activities include Traveler’s Stew Friday Evening (Donations accepted), Bardic around the fire each night, a Brewing Contest (Wines, Meads, and Kombucha entries welcome, too!)

Traditional favorites continue with a Dandy Hat contest, followed by the Annual Guillermo da Serra Patace Memorial Bocce Tournament. On Friday evening at dusk, the Scottish Rules Croquet Course will be open for contestants in the “glowing” (Judges of questionable integrity needed – please inquire with event steward Gillian Lenzi asap. hlgillian.lenz@gmail.com).

Classes scheduled include Pine Needle Basket Weaving, Nature Walk /Foraging for Your Health, Paper Lantern Cutouts, and Daily Heraldry Consultations.

We will also have Children’s Activities ongoing throughout the day near the Archery erics.

This site is ADA accessible, as well as equipped with permanent biffies, and showers. Potable water on site, Ice will also be available on site for a nominal cost.

Arrive anytime Thursday to establish your camp to be ready to start bright, and energized Friday morning. Noise reduction is each night at 10 for the comfort of the fair grounds neighbors.

Packing up is on a TIGHT SCHEDULE this year. WE ABSOLUTELY MUST VACATE THE ENTIRE SITE BY NOON ON SUNDAY. THANK YOU FOR YOUR COOPERATION.

Accessibility Information

Site is a county fair grounds and is totally ADA accessible with accessible permanent biffies and showers. Paved sidewalks all around except in primitives camping areas. 30 horse stalls for “indoor camping”, an additional $20.00/stall.  First Come, First Served, obtain at gate.
