Shire of Ambergard (Grant
County, WA) March 17^th, 2012

Hail An Tir!  The
Shire of Ambergard invites you once again to our annual Oasis War
for castle battles, bridge battles as well as open field and plenty
of Archer scenarios.  A wee Rapier Tournament too!

Food is included in the
gate fee.  Sausage on a bun, cheese, pickles and pickled eggs,
oranges and something sweet. Food will be on site at the war field.
 Hot beverages are also available ( apple cider, hot
chocolate) although the SITE IS DRY. Water for the fighters will be
provided.  Biffies provided for your relief.

MERCHANTS:  We will have merchants
this year!  Fa’el Forge Blacksmithing will be there with a
fine selection of blades and a forge.  Medtrina Massage to
sooth your battered bodies. Needful Things with jewelry,crafts and
garb, a booth selling feast gear,  Iris and Quentin’s Home
Candle Manufactory will have hand dipped beeswax candles, palm wax
pillar candles and soy jar candles.  The Little Things will be
there with homemade glycerin soaps, Shampoo,Conditioner, Lotions,
Sugar Scrubs, Mens shaving kits, room sprays and bath
fizzies!.  Those great woolen hats
that we saw at Ursalmas will also be there, Jon Ortgiesen and
Cholpon Djumabaeva.

War/ Event
Information:   The War Field is at Oasis Park, 2541 Basin
Street SW, Ephrata and it will open Saturday, March 17^th
at 9:30 am. To get there take your best route to Basin Street in
Ephrata, Washington.  (The main thoroughfare through Ephrata
is Hwy 28/Basin Street). OASIS PARK is located at the very
southwest edge of town on Hwy 28. Watch for the SCA
signs.

Armor inspection at
10:30am.

Field gate opens at
9:30am.  Site fee (includes lunch) is $10.00 for adults, $5.00
for youth (8-17) and children 7 and under free. Nonmember adult
charge is $5.00, so bring your member card.  Make checks
payable to: Shire of Ambergard, SCA Inc.
