The Barony of Aquaterra invites one and all to the XXV
Festival of St. Ursul being held on January 26th -28th, 2007.
Have you been tired of walking in the cold and wet from the
Arena to the Merchant Hall? Consider your weary legs and
soggy cloaks relieved! Heavy Fighting, Rapier, Darts, Games,
Arts & Sciences, Living History & Bardic stage,
GoldKey/Chatelaine, Heraldry Consultations, Equestrian
Information, Pied Piper activities, Pages, and Merchants;
just about everything under one roof. You will find Thrown
Weapons, Archery and Box Tourney to be held directly next
door in a covered area. The sleeping hall is still available
for those who wish to spend the night. (No tents/curtains are
allowed in the sleeping halls due to fire regulations.)
Volunteers are always welcome! Please contact the autocrat if
you are interested! If you are in need of space, whether on
the erics or for a special meeting, then please contact the
autocrats as soon as possible. Can you sing a song or tell a
story? Contact our HL Soelig Sweetglee (Shari Peirce) for a
timeslot on the stage mailto:asbardic@baronyofaquaterra.org
This event is well attended by mundanes. Please be willing to
explain what you’re doing and why you do it. The
Chatelaine booth will be well stocked with information for
all!
As with any other year ABC Food Services are contracted to
service any event on the Fairgrounds. You may bring food for
your own consumption but not for sale or distribution. No
crockpots, coffee pots or anything that looks like it would
feed more than one person. In addition, it is a dry site. All
mundane laws apply, including papers for all service dogs.
*** Fairgrounds contract states: Dogs/Pets – Are not
allowed in the Equestrian Park or any building,
barn, arena, speedway, etc., unless contracted as an integral
part of an event. Exceptions, assistance dogs or police
dogs in the performance of their duty. Lease Laws apply
to the Fairgrounds. Owners are to clean up after their
animals. *** Keep in mind how COLD it is
outdoors in your consideration of bringing your
pets!!!!

let the autocrats know if you have need of a meeting time.
