pot luck feasts both saturday and Sunday night! On a restricted diet? No problem, feel free to bring your own food instead of the pot luck, and join us for the social aspect of the feast.
Saturday night feast encourages period entertainments, so if you have a song, story, poem, riddle, or lay to share, please do so. You do not have to have it memorized. Instruments welcome!
Sunday night is a much more relaxed affair, and non-period entertainment is encouraged, as well as the traditional Frozen Mountain Songbook singalong!
The Tournament of the Golden Swan is first and foremost a female persona creation contest.
This year’s candidate must remain in persona the whole time she is onsite, and participate in several round table discussions, and some private sessions with judges. All participants are welcome to participate in the persona creation, everyday life, food, and habitat round tables. If you have developed a persona and wish to talk about yourself, you are welcome to do so. You are also welcome to listen and enjoy other people’s stories!
Combat wise, there will be a Rapier Defender Tournament on Saturday, starting at 10 am. Followed by a Cut and Thrust Tournament, and heavy fighting if there are folks interested.
Volunteers are always welcome, from gate to marshalling, from kitchen clean up to site security.
Merchants are always welcome at no cost.
A few classes are being scheduled, but we have room for more if you are interested in teaching. Please contact Mags, the event steward.
