Their Highnesses Savaric and Safiye, Prince and Princess of
Tir Righ, invite you to bear witness to the elevation of
Their Heirs to the Storm Thrones. This event includes the
Principality challenges for the A&S Champion and the
Rapier Champion, classes hosted by the University of Tir Righ
and a Middle Eastern Town Square Revel. Come and mingle,
enjoy a beverage, dance to our talented drummers and
musicians.
A special rate has been negotiated with the Ramada Pitt
Meadows of $79 for a standard, $89 for a kitchenette room.
The hotel is holding a block of rooms up to October 31, 2008
so book early. After October 31 the group rate is subject to
availability of rooms. Mention the special group code
2045 to access the group rate. Hotel phone is 604-460-9859.
Hotel is located at Lougheed Hwy and Harris Road in Pitt
Meadows.
The hotel has 23 rooms booked,
and will continue to offer the group rate – there is still
time if you want a room close to the event.

“Family” does not include SCA households or roommates –
you must be related modernly. Common law and same sex spouses
are considered related. No more than two (2) adults in a
family group can qualify for the family cap price; all others
of that family must be related minor-aged children. NMS is
applicable and is not included in the family cap price.
Tir Righ Rapier Championship:
Seeded Round Robin tournament,
with Double Elimination Semi-Finals and Finals. Rapier
Marshall-In-Charge is Maestro Guidobaldo d’Aquila.
Tir Righ Arts and Sciences Championship:
The Tir Righ A&S Champion is an inspiration and role
model to others, representing the Principality through
leadership and example. The Champion has a public presence in
promoting the arts and sciences, will show a breadth of
skills, and will be ready and able to judge, teach and guide
with gentleness and compassion.
Any person may enter a piece without the goal of being the
overall A&S Champion. You may enter up to three pieces
but the letter of intent is the same as for a full entry to
ensure judges can be arranged (four weeks prior to the
competition). A group of people may enter a piece as well;
please document how each person contributed to the overall
piece.
Competitors must notify the contest organizers that they wish
to enter; deadline is October 22, 2008. For more detailed

Saturday Evening Revel
Saturday evening’s Revel includes the Queen’s Henna Corner, a
Turkish coffee bar, a licensed tavern, some “nibble” food,
music, games and socializing. Come join us! Cost is included
in your event fee. For anyone who wants to come to
just the revel, the cost is $5.
