This is a Level 1: Coronet Event (Principality Coronet Tournaments and Investitures) event.
Good gentles and friends! We, the Shire of Thornwold, invite all to help celebrate as Prince Kheron and Princess Athelina invest Their heirs Tannist Bryn and Ban-Tannist Tatiana to the thrones of Tir Righ in this, their southern-most holding! There will be a rapier competition to decide the new Principality Rapier champion, merchants, day food available, and other activities to add to the day’s festivities.
This one-day event will be taking place in the Pioneer Pavillion Community Center at 2007 Cherry Street in Ferndale, WA. The site is one-level with free parking, just a couple blocks off the main street of lovely downtown Ferndale. There are grocery stores, restaurants, and drug stores all within a reasonable distance for any last minute needs.
Please note that as this event is taking place across the mundane border, we will be unable to accept Canadian cash. We will be able to accept Canadian checks written in US funds. We apologize for this inconvenience, and your gate team thanks you for your understanding.

If you plan to attend, please pre-register on the Google doc located here. If you plan to partake of the day food, please note it on the pre-reg so we can prepare. Please note that unfortunately we cannot take pre-payment, blue cards will be checked at gate and minor waivers will be available at that time.

Meal Information
Day food will be provided by the talented and kitchen-wise Alianor of Thornwold and Yzabels de la Costa! There will be pottage options, including salad and breads. The list of options and ingredients can be found on this document. Suggested donation will be $5 for one pottage with bread and salad, or $10 for a serving of each pottage with bread and salad.
Tournament Information
A word from our Tir Righ Rapier champion MoD Kian O’Ruadhri about the competition:
It is my pleasure to announce the format of the upcoming Tir Righ Rapier Championship Tournament. Please expect a Processional prior to the tournament to introduce someone who inspires you. The order of introductions shall be determined by the Inspirations rank, in reverse Order of Precedence.
The Championship tournament of Tir Righ shall follow the following format:
The tournament shall be a round robin format, number of pools to be determined by number of fighters. After a short break, the top 4 from each pool shall advance to a single elimination tournament, each round shall be fought best 2 out of 3 to determine the Finalists. After another short break, the finalists and their inspirations will be introduced to the populace of Tir Righ, similar to the introduction of the finalists in a Coronet tournament. After the introductions, the finalists will duel best 3 out of 5 to determine the new Scar of Tir Righ.
