Let the Heralds cry out and
let the news reach to all that

Summits Summer Investiture
draws nigh and

the Shire of Myrtleholt
welcomes all unto to her lands

 

Let the populace come and
gather as we celebrate the completion of our fair
Prince Brian
of Ledbury and Princess Acacia Gryffyn as they
complete their reign and then as their heirs Brogan O’Bryant
the Bull and his consort Johanna Kjoppmanndtr come and take
up the coronets to reign over the Griffin lands. Also let us
celebrate the succession of the new Defender/Warlord of the
Summits as a tournament is held and by right of combat will
this successor be chosen. Their Royal Majesties of An Tir
King Vik Vikingsson and Queen Inga the Unfettered will be
grace us with their presence as well. Please come and join us
for these events and more as we have fun and
merriment.

Excellencies of the Summits request

Saturday

9:00 – Laurel Meeting

9:45 – Chivalry Meeting

10:30 – Pelican Meeting

11:15 -Peerage meeting over

11:45 – Final Court of TAH Brian and
Acacia.

Following the Final court of Brian and Acacia-
Investiture of Brogan and Johanna.

• 
  Exchanges of fealty, swearing in of
  champions, officers etc.

Break after Investiture of Brogan and Johanna to
allow fighters to armor up, get inspections done
etc. (No more than 1 hour for this break. Heat
may be taken into consideration and the start delayed however
we would like to begin the tournament as quickly as
possible)

Defender Tournament begins

possible style being-Traditional alliance-by-conquest, but to
the last team-member standing (instead of til the death of
the captain). While in our SCA war fighting, it is more
important that ones troops are victorious than that the
commander survives the encounter-Sir Agu Nur Rustam Ibn
Abdallah

• 
  Begin procession for the entrants of
  the Defenders Tournament.

• Start the defenders
  tournament.

• Announce tentative plans for evening
  court.

Archery – TBA (archery marshal on
site)

 

Rapier – TBA

 

College of Pages – Chuiregon Class apx. Half Hour
long

 

Saturday evening. (The length of the Defenders Tournament
will influence the starting time of court)

  First Court of Brogan and
  Johanna.

• Swear in New Defender

Sunday

9:00- Curia

10:00- Moot

Brogan and Johanna must be on the road back home not
later than 12noon. It is Father’s Day and Brogan wants to
get back home to be with his children.

tournament or class please contact the Autocrats

 

The Event will be held on
private lands but is just a short walk from fishing and
swimming at Lake Selmac

 

Pets are welcomed please have
current shots and must be maintained and controlled at all
times as property owners does have cattle and sheep live
stock

Site Fees: $15 for Adults
(18+) A Non-Member Surcharge (NMS) of $3 applies to all
non-member adults. $9 for Youths (12-17). $6 for Children
(6-11). FREE for 5 and under. No NMS for Youths or Children.
$42 Family Cap (+NMS for adults) for immediate family at same
physical address (sorry does not include SCA Households,
ships, clans, ect. ). Make Checks payable to: SCA inc. Shire
of Myrtleholt

 

Merchants are welcomed with
no separate merchant fee ( a donation on an item would be
greatly appreciated)
