Welcome Summits Nobles and Populace! The Shire of Mountain Edge are proud to host the Summits Spring Coronet 2025, Coronet Tournament is open to all Summits members on the 29th of March. Prepare to be amazed as valiant warriors clash in breathtaking tournaments of Coronet and Cut and Thrust, enjoy a leisurely walk through merchants row, find a friend to share a lunch and kind conversation. The site is located at First Baptist Church in McMinnville, Oregon.

As the day comes to a close, gather for a Summits Court and see who our next Heirs will be in June Investiture of 2025, as well as Cut and Thrust Champion.

Signing up for the Coronet Tournament lists is now available!  Please register by filling out this form!  If you desire to fight in the tournament, you must sign up before March 21st.

Site information

  • Because the event is hosted by a church, this will be a dry site.  However there are several restaurants, coffee shops and wineries within a short walking distance.
  • Smoking/Vaping will be in designated areas only.
  • Handicap parking and access is available on the Washington St. side of the building.
  • In case of inclement weather, the tournament will be held indoors on carpet, otherwise it will be held outside in the parking lot on asphalt.  Be prepared with appropriate foot wear.
  • Lunch will be available to purchase by those that pre-register.

Sunday Summits Fight Practice

After the Summits Moot, we will be going over to Joe Dancer park for Fight Practice.   There will be marshals for Heavy, Rapier, and the Summits Murderbirds will practice combat archery.  If you are interested in Combat Archery, contact Morgan Woodsende of Hoghton.

Registration Information

Pre-registration for Site Fee and Lunch

Pre-registration will be available for Summits Coronet on Castrorum.
By registering online, it helps smooth out the gate check in process.   Those that wish to participate in Lunch must choose that option when pre-registering.  (+$10)

Online registration will be available from February 5th until March 20th.

Lodging Information

Red Lion in McMinnville, Oregon (Link coming)  $140 per night for One King size bed or Double Queen Room. Amenities: Pool, Hot Tub, TV, Microwave, Refrigerator, Complimentary Breakfast.   For discounts, please complete by February 27th, 2024.

Accessibility Information

First Baptist Church is handicap accessible with an elevator on site for those that need it. Also, Washington Street is accessible to drive down, drop off at entrance, or a few cars to park near. Meal Information

Lunch is available as an additional purchase of $10 to all those that pre-register for the event.

We will be providing Sandwiches and a variety of Soups.  If you have any dietary restrictions, please make note of them in the Comments section when you pre-register for the event.

Tournament Information

Summits Spring Coronet Tournament

Pre-registration is required to enter the Coronet Tournament.  All those who wish to compete to become their Highnesses’ successors must register using this form.  Tournament registration closes on March 21st.

Heavy Marshal: Lord Fergus The Red, Senior Marshall
Tournament format:
The Coronet Tournament will be a double elimination tournament.
Each round is best two out of three, bring your best.
The Finals will be best three of five.

Sword of the Mountain, Cut & Thrust Champion Tournament

Cut and Thrust Marshal: Viscount Antoine à la Langue d’Or

Please note that pre-registration and additional requirements may be necessary to enter these tournaments.

Youth and Family Activities

No price charged for activities:

Children Activity, age 5 and up with an adult:  Coat of Arms creations with Karen, 10a.m.-12:00 p.m.

Youth Activity, age 10 and up with an adult: Macrame rock creations with Rain, Sabina, Eowyn, 10am-12:00p.m.

 

Volunteer Information

Volunteering is vital to all events.   It takes an army of folk at the gate, lists, heralding, marshaling, art and sciences, children and youth activities, and food prep.   If you are able to help at this event and are able to sign up in advance, please fill out our Volunteer form (To be added). 

Looking for a Volunteer Coordinator, someone to check in with volunteers and bring snacks or water to them,  create a check in list, and recruit volunteers for any loose ends 2 weeks before event.  Respond to Asny Brunsdottir, the event steward.
