The Shire of Shittimwoode invites one and all to the 30th Anniversary of our Sir Edwards Memorial Tournament.
Listen good gentles of our fair shire!
Good tidings have befallen us this glorious April
A hero long lost is making his most triumphant return
In all of his green shoed glory!
We wish to welcome him in fanfare!
For those who love him, and those who don't,
I put forth to you, a challenge!
Compose me an Ode to Eddie! Be it song or verse. This will be a competetion!
You will be rivlaed by others who share your affection!
or disdain!
Our most honored winner will be bestowed a gift worthy
of having to perform their Ode in front of Eddie!
Now: A few brief guidelines
1. Please keep entries under 3 minutes.
2. All entries must be recieved no later than April 1
3. I will also accept limmerics, haiku, or any other form of obscure poetry or song.
4. The top five entries are to be performed in person at our grand bardic. Please email entries to:

The Shire Championships for Heavy Fighting, Arts & Sciences, Rapier, Archery and Thrown Weapons shall be held throughout the day on Saturday. Wonderful wares from the fine merchants of An Tir will also be available all weekend!
Gate opens to the populace at 3 PM on Friday, April 18th.
Site closes at 4 PM on Sunday, April 20th. (please be packed and off site by this time)
Please contact the Lady Tianna for merchanting requirements. Only
pre-registered merchants and helpers may enter the site prior to gate opening
time.
Site fees:
Age 18 and over SCA members – $12.00 US
Age 12-17 years – $8.00 US
Under 12 years – Free
Family Cap of $40.00 US
Canadian cash will be exchanged for US dollars prior to paying site fee.
Sorry, no Canadian checks accepted
We are required to collect a non-member surcharge of $3.00 US for all
non-members who are 18 or over.
Make checks out to "Shire of Shittimwoode, SCA Inc."
RV Fee:
Hookups available for RV's, (water, electric, and dump site available)
$15 RV fee for each night connected.
No RV Fee if you can remain self-contained and do not require hook-ups or dumping.
