This is a Level 2: Branch Event where no Kingdom or Principality business is expected to be conducted event.

Come join us as we choose the new Equestrian Defender of The Shire of Mountain Edge! Be you rider, ground crew, equestrian enthusiast, or loyal supporter of the Shire of Mountain Edge’s equestrian community, come out and play with us!
In addition to the Defender tourney, we’ll have authorization opportunities (so bring your curious rider friends), other activities, and open time with the games equipment.
** Gate fee is $0, nada, FREE!! **
This is a day event, but equestrians contact Sebdann (Seonaid Welch) if you want to haul a horse from further away and would like to overnight either before or after. There are a very few stalls available to do that.

Event Schedule

Time Activity
9:00 AM Gate Opens
10:00 AM Riders meeting/green card inspection, followed by open riding and time enough for lunch
1:00 PM Equestrian Defender Tourney
3:00 PM Open riding/authorizations until 5pm
6:00 PM off site unless you’ve arranged with the site hosts to stall your horses overnight.

Tournament Information

To everyone that will be entering the tournament, We’ll be going on an adventure!
To make sure you’re prepared please bring a cloak or cape, you’ll also want a pouch to keep your treasure in. As with all good adventures there will be hunting, and the possibility of brigands and evildoers, so bring what weapons and equipment you may have, including heavy lance, sharp lance, ring lance, sword, and javelin.
The probable hazards you may face (in no particular order)are as follows:
Heads
Rings
Pigs (to poke)
Quintain
Javelin throw
Gates
Bridges
Side pass over obstacles
There will also be some obstacles that will test your equitation through maneuverability and balance.
