This is a Level 1 event.

The Shire of Mountain Edge welcomes all to our 16th Defenders Tournament.  Join us and watch brave, honorable and skilled Heavy Armored Combat and Rapier fighters vie to determine out new defenders.

The site fee ($10 for members, $15 for adult non-members, < 18 are free) includes beverages and lunch and dessert.   bring feast gear if you have it; we will have disposable gear for those who do not.   Cash or checks only.  Please make checks payable to ‘Shire of Mountain Edge, SCA Inc.’

***if you are bringing a child for whom you are not a parent or guardian, you must also bring a Minor’s Consent to Participate and Hold Harmless Agreement  form and a Medical Authorization form.  both must be signed/authorized by a parent or guardian.  These forms are in the kingdom library.

Other activities – A&S – bring anything that you’re working on and enjoy the company of other artisans, games (there are horseshoe/quoits pits at the park!), some children’s activities(coloring, Medieval Pictionary…) and a selection of books from a member’s library will be available for your perusal

Volunteers We heartily welcome volunteers!  Would you like to help at gate?  teach an informal class or simply demonstrate a skill?  bring a dish to share at lunch?  be a water-bearer during combat?  help with cleanup?  just let our steward know!

Pets The park rules allow pets but require that they be kept on a leash at all times. 

Directions – find your best route to Highway 99W.

From SOUTH of McMinnville – head NORTH.  Just past McMinnville turn LEFT onto Highway 47 (sign – Yamhill/Carlton).  

Follow 47 through Carlton and continue onto Yamhill.   RIGHT onto  3rd St.  Beulah Park is on the RIGHT, on the corner of 3rd and Hemlock.

From North of McMinnville – head SOUTH.  Just before McMinnville, turn Right onto Highway 47 and follow the directions above.

The site is covered but not heated so dress appropriately.
