Knights, and Ladies, and Bards….oh my!

There will be fighting, and archery, and varied arts and artists to
behold.

The Barony of Glymm Mere invites you to join us in
re-creating  the Middle Ages at Mayfaire, a public
demonstration and event.  Please help us educate our modern
guests both on the Medieval and Renaissance World and our roles in
preserving this part of history.

The activities will include:

Two-and-Under
Rapier Tournament

Two-and-Under Heavy
Tournament

The
Two-and-Under Tournaments are for newer fighters that want to test
their skill with other fighters at the skill level as themselves.
There are 3 rules to see if you can enter:

1. You have been
fighting for less than 2 years.

2. You have
little to no experience in tournament fighting.

3. You have a
sponsor that knows your skill level to be a novice.

This tournament
is for those still learning the skills to be a great
fighter.

The Heavy format
will be a round robin (everyone fights everyone.) Top 2 with the
most wins will fight a best 2 out of 3 to take the prize. Weapons
are sword and shield. Shield should be standard tournament
sized.

The Rapier
format is a round robin (everyone fights everyone.) Top 2 with the
most wins will fight a best 2 out of 3 to take the prize. Weapons,
Sword and any defensive secondary. So no dagger or case.

Formats may
change day of the event due to the number of fighters entering the
list.

Champions
Tournaments

serve as role models and as inspiration for the populace.
Come try your skills and vie for the position of Champion of Glymm
Mere.

We welcome those
wanting to fight in the championship tournaments that don’t
want to via for the tittle themselves. Help test the would be
champions for their Excellencies. This is a prize or two for those
that help challenge Glymm Mere’s fighters.
