May Crown is once again being held at the Grandview Country Park/Yakima Valley Fairgrounds.   Please come join us to witness the tournament to choose An Tir’s next Heirs!  There will be a host of activities from fighting of all disciplines to A&S Classes, Equestrian, Merchants and the return of the May Crown Eric Party!

Registration Information

There will be no Event Pre-Reg offered for May Crown this year

Camping, Eric and RV Reservations will Open in early March.

Accessibility Information

The site is flat and mostly grassy, with some paved paths.  Flush bathrooms and port-a-potties, including ADA compliant units.

Tournament Information

Crown Tournament format from Their Majesties:

Processional will be in Highest OP of the Fighter and Inspiration, but the line will be in Reverse OP order.

Challenge round will be fought after a 20 min warm up, and will be fought single sword only (one handed only).

Main Tournament will be Round Robin into a Sweet 16 (Ursalmas style)

Sweet 16-Semis Finals will be Single Elimination best 2 of 3

Finals will be best 3 of 5

High heat is now a threat even in May, and we’ve seen it at this site for this event.  Heat abatement alternatives are being considered and will be published in advance of the event.

Squires, Provost, and Cut & Thrust tournaments – more information to come.
Pre-reg for all tournaments will open in mid April.

Merchant Information

The Kingdom Merchant policy applies.  There is a $25 merchant fee that is paid for in advance, you will still need to pay at gate for your entry.

In the event of an actual emergency call 911! Give them the site address (812 Wallace Way, Grandview, WA 98930) and send someone to gate to direct them to you. Send a second person to alert the Event Stewards.

Pop-up thunderstorms are a very real possibility this time of year. Stake down your tents/dayshades and be ready to secure for gusting winds if it looks like a storm is approaching. Severe storm shelter is available under any of the livestock barns.
