Madrone’s annual Baronial Banquet will be held on March 29th, 2003 at a wonderful new site, the Sons of Norway Lodge in Bothell. The Madrone Culinary Guild, headed by Genot Boulanger, is preparing a sumptuous feast of three courses, following a ‘Silk Road’ theme: 14th century Venetian, 13th century Middle Eastern, and 14th century Mongolian. Brief performances will accompany each course.

The site opens for setup at 10AM and closes at 10PM. A grand processional and baronial court will take place in the afternoon, with plenty of time for socializing, etc.

Tickets for this event go on sale February 1st. Only 150 feast tickets will be available, with a cost of $18/person for both feast and site fees. An optional site-only fee is $5 for 13 and older, with a mundane family cap of $20. Non-member surcharges must be assessed, and we encourage timely membership renewal to make this unnecessary. After 2/1, please mail your reservation (number of people in party, names, vegetarian preference, etc.) and a check payable to “SCA Inc, Barony of Madrone” to:
