Center (1401 Cleveland Street, Mount Vernon, Washington, USA).
The event stewards are: Lady Mericke de Ross, GdS, JdL

Lord Michael FitzGeoffrey, GdS, Argent Scroll Herald (for matters
related to content; michaelfitzgeoffrey@gmail.com).
If you use Facebook, you are invited to indicate whether you
are planning to attend at https://www.facebook.com/events/1456917014520318.
GATE OPENS AT 8:00 a.m. ON BOTH DAYS.
Curious about including sign language in
court? Lady Nesscia inghean Chearnaigh, Silent Heraldry
deputy to the Laurel Principal Sovereign-of-Arms, is slated to
attend! We are also pleased to welcome Master Gabriel Kjotvason,
who just stepped down as Laurel Principal King-of-Arms this
September.
Where instructors shall have chosen to
submit the necessary information, the University of Ithra will
grant credit for classes at Symposium. Please contact Lady
Mericke de Ross, GdS, JdL (Event Co-Steward and Ithra Chancellor)
for more information on Ithra matters.
Please CLICK HERE to see the schedule of classes, meetings,
etc.
It is our intent to electronically
publish the proceedings of this Symposium to the official website
of the An Tir College of Heralds. (For the time being, they
are available at http://midhaven.antir.sca.org/khss2014/Proceedings/.)
What does this mean? Well, all class/discussion handouts that
instructors/leaders are willing to allow us to publish, as well as
any research papers of interest to the An Tir heraldic and scribal
communities. This could include articles that you may have
published in your local branch newsletters, blogs that you may have
published, documentation that you may have prepared for Arts &
Sciences, academic papers, etc. Please consider
submitting.
Congratulations unto Lady Richenda du
Jardin, GdS, JdL, Black Lion Principal Herald, and also unto
Doña Juliana de Luna, OL (Siren Herald Extraordinary,
Pelican Queen-of-Arms E Merita, & Lions Blood Herald
Pro Tempore) on being placed on vigil for admission to the
Order of the Pelican. They will be having a pre-vigil at
Symposium.
Lord Alan ap Neal, GdS, and Lady Kattera
Giese, GdS (Town Crier Pursuivant) will be hosting a
Heraldic Vox-off (a voice heraldry contest)
at Symposium. Come compete, and see how to run a Vox-off at
your local event.
In addition, this event will also be
hosting the quarterly meeting of the Western Region Pelican Council
from 4:00 – 6:00 pm. Those attending solely for this meeting
will not be subject to the gate fee or related NMS.
