Cooking Event –
It is said, an army marches on its stomach. Are you ready to feed the troops? First we have to see if you’re up to muster… or should I say…mustard… No. No, I should not. Are you looking for a siege cooking like no other? Are you looking for a REAL challenge of cooking skill and creativity? This may be the challenge for you.
A basic rundown: Teams may be of any size. You MUST use the main ingredients you obtain for the contest, but you are welcome to supplement with your own. First you must obtain your war ration. This will be the grain/legume/etc. you will use. Your protein will be obtained by a random archery shoot, so get your bow ready… or bribe the game master (MIC Archery) or get permission (in writing) through the local scribes. That works. Earn your salt. Literally. Bonus items and points will be available by solving puzzles and riddles. Don’t want to do the work? Bribery IS accepted, you just have to know who to bribe and what they want… or if you just want a “small advantage… When all your ingredients are obtained you will create a sumptuous meal to be judged by our esteemed Baron and Baroness. Are you up for the challenge? Contact runa.harasdottir@gmail.com with questions and your intent to enter.
