Are you ready to Holmgang? If so we are ready to welcome you
to the 1oth anniversary of Holmgang in Krakenfjord. This
being the tenth anniversary of Holmgang we have a lot of fun
and exciting things planned. We have: Our traditional
Holmgang tournament. Rapier tournament Holmgang style Outdoor
feast – featuring some traditional norse dishes Norse
Wrestling is rumoured to make an appearance behind the
longhouse Evening Bardic Thrown weapons tourney – Beard of
the Viking Norse table games Kubb game field Norse catwalk –
best/worst dressed Vikings Cheesecake auction to raise money
for the principality travel fund Archery tournament – norse
style Children’s Archery Tourney Children’s hobby-horse races
Site opens at 4 pm. There will be a welcome to Holmgang
potluck Friday night hosted by the members of Krakenfjord
starting around 8pm. Just show up even if you are late and
relax. Dogs are allowed but An Tir leash law WILL be rigidly
enforced. Dogs must be kept on a leash, if you cannot keep
your dog leashed for the event do not bring it. There is
potable water on site but if you can bring your own it would
be easier for you. There is a corner store approx 15 minutes
away if you forget anything. The site owner requests that we
stay away from his greenhouses as they are being repaired and
it isn’t safe for young people. There is a small shallow
creek cutting through the property so smalls should be
supervised. This is a wet site, period containers are highly
recommended. Merchants are welcome and have a sheltered area
with a view of the list field to set up. **************DO NOT
