Stromgard’s Fall Festival and Sargeantry Trials

Barony of Stromgard (Ridgefield, WA)
Celebrate the beginning of fall when the sun and moon share equal time in
the sky and good gentles gather to share the bountiful harvests. Join in
the festival by participating in the many classes scheduled. Relax in the
wooded surroundings to the tunes of talented musicians and bards. Wander
through our village, visit the merry merchants, or revel in the
companionship of friends as they compare their tales of war and victory.
There will be tournaments and contests aplenty, with many a priceless
treasure to win. Her Excellency Stromgard invites you to enter to prove
the abilities of not only yourself but of her brave Sargeantry candidates as
well. She challenges her Cousin Baronesses to gather their finest to test
the best of Stromgard while defending their own barony’s standards. We
will have Heavy & Light Combat, Archery, Rapier, Equestrian, A&S, Brewing,
Gaming, Dancing, and more! The castle will be set up for the fiercest
warriors to defend. Saturday evening, Stromgard will host an open potluck
feast to celebrate
the investiture of our Sargeants and Baronial Champions with the Barony
providing the smoked beast.
This is a primitive site- bring water. Firepits must be 12″ above ground.

Directions: There is no street address.
From I-5, take exit #9 (Fairgrounds)
From the North- turn left and under the freeway. Turn left at light onto NE
10th Avenue
From the South- go straight through the light and follow NE 10th Avenue.
From 10th Avenue- Follow for 2 miles to the stop sign at Deluth. Continue
straight for another mile. The site is on the right.
There will be SCA signs.
