Greetings!

The catalogues are now ready for the Early Britain and Ireland Ithra
Session, May 4 and 5, 2002. You can get a hard copy by phoning me at (250)
498-3084, or e-mailing to jturner@img.net (or TurnerRay_JoAnn@msn.com if
the first address doesn’t work for you).

The same information is available on-line at
www.geocities.com/olwenpenaur/Ithra.html

Registrations must be post-marked no later than April 26 to avoid a late fee.

There’s a great line-up of classes. It’s going to be great!

See you there!

Just a reminder of the upcoming Early Britain and Ireland Ithra coming up
in two weeks, May 4 and 5. Catalogues are available by e-mailing me at
jturner@img.net (if that doesn’t work for you, try TurnerRay_JoAnn@msn.com.
Some people e-mailing me from the U.S. have their messages bounce when they
use my IMG address, but the MSN one works for them), or by calling me at
(250) 498-3084.

You can also access the same information by going to
www.geocities.com/olenpenaur/Ithra.html Everything is there including a
timetable and a registration form. The only thing missing on that site that
you’d get in the hard copy is a map.

I don’t have the catalogues available in a form I can e-mail. So hard copy
or on-line are your options.

This is a camping session, so come prepared for winter camping. Some
crashspace is available, but you must call or write ahead, and get a
confirmation, before you arrive to arrange for this. You can also find a
link to a website of motels in the Oliver area on my Ithra webpage. We have
had sun and warm-ish weather, but the nights are still chilly. We’ve also
had rain lately. So come prepared for early British weather!

There are 22 classes lined up, everything from rivetted chainmail to card
weaving. It’s all historically based, and every class applies to Britain,
Ireland or Northern Europe to about 1300.

The site is in Oliver, B.C. (15 miles north of the border, 25 miles south
of Penticton). Registration fee is $7. There will be a feast on Saturday
night for $5 a head, pay for this when you register. Breakfast and lunch
will also be for sale on-site.

There’s a reward for registering early (before April 26). Late
registrations pay an additional $5. So register early to be sure you get
the classes you want!

Hope to see you there!
All the best,
HL Olwen Pen Aur
